Q. What are the dimensions?

A. AxiKit Deluxe: 6.0″H x 3.5″W x 1.25″D.  AxiKit Smart: 7.0″H x 4.0″W x .25″D.

Q. What is the difference between AxiKit Deluxe FLEET and AxiKit Deluxe CONSUMER?

A. AxiKit Deluxe FLEET contains a tamper-resistant seal with a place to write who or what vehicle the AxiKit is assigned to. It also contains slightly different information, such as “Contact Your Supervisor Immediately.” And it includes a large, bright laminated Reminder Decal suitable for fleet vehicles. AxiKit CONSUMER contains a special removable Reminder Decal that is designed for use in a passenger vehicle. Otherwise, both are the same size and have the same components.

Q. How can I customize my AxiKits?

A. AxiKit Deluxe FLEET can be imprinted with your text in 4 areas: each side, back panel, and the “Step 7″ panel. AxiKit Deluxe CONSUMER can be imprinted with your text in 4 areas: each side, front panel, and the “Step 7″ panel. Click here for a form that will help with ideas for customizing your AxiKits. We can also customize your AxiKits in other ways. If you have special requirements, just let us know.

Q. Can I have my logo printed on AxiKit Custom?

A. Yes. There is no extra charge for your logo if it’s a high quality electronic image, it’s included in the customization fee. We accept most file formats such as .eps, .jpg and .ai.

Q. Can I add a map or other special artwork?

A. Yes. There is no extra charge if you provide a high quality electronic image, it’s included in the customization fee.

Q. Can I have my imprint in color ink?

A. Yes. The customization fee includes color. If you need a precise PMS color match, we can quote the cost.

Q. How often should I replace my AxiKit Deluxe kits?

A. This is a very individual decision that each client should make for themselves. Most cameras are shipped with an 18-24 month expiration date. This doesn’t necessarily mean that photos taken after the expiration date will not be useful. Time and temperature extremes can affect things such as color accuracy and contrast, but may still result in very valuable photos. Some clients routinely replace their AxiKits yearly. Others test a few periodically to be sure they’re getting the picture quality they want.

Q. How do I place an order?

A. All orders are prepaid. You can order securely online. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. To pay by check, or if you need other assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-729-4548 (Mon-Fri 9A-5P eastern) or sales@axikit.com.

Q.How soon will I receive my AxiKit order?

A. AxiKit Deluxe and AxiKit Smart orders are usually shipped in 2-3 business days. Customized orders are usually shipped in about 2 weeks. When you place your order, you will receive a confirmation with an estimated ship date. Ground shipping usually takes 2-5 days. Overnight and 2-day shipping are available; please ask for quote.
